Custom Pebble Magnets

7-10 year olds | two hours

Help your child make their own magnets for the fridge. These simple yet elegant creations are functional too!

What You'll Need

  • clear glass pebbles (found at crafts store)
  • small round magnets
  • clear glue
  • old magazines
  • scissors

1. Start by cutting out small images, letters, photographs or sketches in the shape of the magnet. They can be from old magazines, hand-drawn or printed off the computer. Glossy paper works best!
2. Glue the small image onto the magnet first. Trim off any overlap with scissors.
3. Put a large dab of glue on top of the magnet image. Immediately press a glass pebble on top of the glue.
4. Let them dry and attach them to your fridge.
