Napkin Rings

7-10 year olds | half hour

Let your kids spice up the dining room or kitchen table with their creations.

What You'll Need

  • paper towel rolls
  • scissors
  • paint
  • markers

1. Cut paper towel rolls to segments about 5 centimetres in length.
2. Decorate the rings with paint or markers.
3. Leave to dry.

Fun Tips:

- Instead of paints or markers, trying gluing wrapping and gluing fabric or wrapping paper around the rolls.
- Try making rolls that are patterned or correspond to a season so they can be interchanged depending on the occasion.
- Add seeds or small dried herbs to the rolls for texture and decoration.
