No Bake Brownies - Family recipes for kids

7-10 year olds | half hour

You don’t need an oven for this delicious chocolaty treat! Adult supervision is required, though. This recipe is a great way to introduce your children to safely using the stove and measuring ingredients.

What You'll Need

  • 110 grams of butter
  • 450 grams of sugar
  • 5 teaspoons cocoa
  • 115 ml milk
  • 180 grams rolled oats
  • 60 grams of chopped walnuts, coconut or raisins


  1. Put all the ingredients into a pot on the stove.
  2. Bring to boil and let boil for five minutes.
  3. Reduce heat to low. Stir in rolled oats and walnuts/coconut or raisins. Mix.
  4. Pour into brownie pan and let cool.
  5. Cut and serve!
