Olympic Medals

4-6 year olds | half hour

A great prop for your own backyard Olympic games. Every child is a winner with these homemade medals.

What You'll Need

  • foil
  • cardboard
  • ribbon
  • scissors

Instructions

1. Cut out circles from the cardboard.
2. Make a 2 or 3 cm slit near the top of each cardboard circle.
3. Wrap foil firmly around the cardboard circles. Add stickers if you want.
4. Cut the foil so that the slit remains open on each circle.
5. String ribbon through the slit on each circle. Tie off to make a necklace.
6. Award the medals to all the little Olympic winners.
